Death toll from Israeli strike on al-Zeytoun neighbourhood rises
Earlier, we reported that three people had been killed in an Israeli strike on the al-Zeytoun neighbourhood in Gaza City.

Officials are now reporting that four people were killed and another was critically wounded in the attack.

Incident involving tanker, military forces east of Oman: UKMTO
The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) says it has received reports of an incident between military forces and a tanker, 100 nautical miles (185km) east of the Omani port of Duqm.

“Reports indicate that the tanker was ⁠subject to interaction as ⁠part of ongoing military activity ⁠in the region,” ⁠UKMTO said in ⁠a note cited by Reuters.

Israeli military claims attack on Hezbollah fighters in southern Lebanon
Israel’s military has said its forces carried out a strike earlier today against Hezbollah fighters in Lebanon’s Tebnit area.

In a statement, the Israeli military claimed the Hezbollah members were “operating drones and taking cover” near an area where Israeli troops were positioned, which it said was a violation of the ceasefire understanding.

Israel has regularly carried out deadly attacks in Lebanon during the “ceasefire”.

Saudi Arabia’s foreign ministry has said it strongly condemns “the continued brutal Iranian aggression” against Kuwait, Bahrain and Jordan.

In a statement, the ministry said it fully supports the measures those countries take against Iran’s attacks, which “violate international law and the principles of good neighbourliness”.

The Saudi statement follows earlier condemnations of Iran’s recent attacks on Gulf neighbours by Qatar and GCC chief Jassim al-Budaiwi.

Several Kuwaiti firefighters injured while putting out blazes caused by Iranian attacks: Kuwait Fire Force
Kuwaiti firefighters have contained two fires that erupted this afternoon as a result of Iranian attacks, according to the Kuwait Fire Force.

The force’s spokesman, Mohammed Bader Ibrahim, said several firefighters and an oil worker were injured in one of the affected areas, which was targeted again while firefighting operations were under way.

He said firefighters also extinguished three other fires that were triggered by shrapnel falling in residential areas, which did not cause any injuries.

A 17-year-old Palestinian died this morning a week after being shot by Israeli forces near al-Mughayyir, a village of about 4,000 residents northeast of Ramallah. Israeli forces sealed off the entrance to the village ahead of his funeral procession.
A Palestinian man was shot and wounded by Israeli forces in the Wadi al-Hummus area, east of Bethlehem.
Israeli forces raided several Palestinian homes, including in Mithlon, southeast of Jenin, and in Ya’bad, to the southwest of the city.
Israeli forces prevented the dawn call to prayer and the holding of Fajr prayers in the village of Husan, west of Bethlehem, as well as forcing worshippers to leave one of its mosques.
