“Snow White” stars Gal Gadot and Rachel Zegler reportedly feuding over Israel-Palestine conflict

Tensions escalate between Gal Gadot and Rachel Zegler due to differing views on the Israel-Palestine conflict.

Mirror, mirror on the wall, which “Snow White” stars aren’t friends at all?

According to reports, tensions are rising between Rachel Zegler and fellow “Snow White” actress Gal Gadot, who she claims has “nothing in common.” This event is before the debut of their live-action Disney version.

In an interview with People on Friday, an anonymous insider said that the two stars lead quite separate lives.

Although Gadot, 39, is a mother of four and has been married to Jaron Varsano since 2008, Zegler, 23, is a young, up-and-coming star.

The insider continued, “The fact that they hold different political opinions increases tension.”

With differing viewpoints, Zegler and Gadot have both been vocal about the current Israel-Palestine conflict.

Following the online release of the first “Snow White” trailer, Zegler scrawled “Free Palestine” on X.

Gadot, who is Israeli, has been vocal about the horrors Hamas has inflicted on her homeland since October 7, 2023.

Zegler, meanwhile, has made news in the past for calling the original “Snow White” outdated.

According to the source, who spoke to People on Friday, Gadot was baffled by Zegler’s comment.

According to the insider, Gal’s mindset is that you don’t complain and create drama for a project you agreed to undertake. “She simply doesn’t understand.”

“Snow White,” which is scheduled for release on March 21, has already generated a great deal of criticism.

Rumors circulated that Disney was abandoning the dwarf characters before the film’s production. In response to the excitement, the company announced that they were using a “different approach” in order to “avoid reinforcing stereotypes” from the 1937 movie.

Online, fans voiced their complaints, accusing the business of being overly “politically correct” and “woke.”

Actor Peter Dinklage of “Game of Thrones,” who has dwarfism, also thought it was a terrible idea.

In 2022, he appeared on Marc Maron’s “WTF” podcast and stated, “I was a little taken aback [when] they were very proud to cast a Latina actress as Snow White, but you’re still telling the story of ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.'” I don’t mean to offend anyone.

Dinklage, 55, clarified, “You’re progressive in one sense, but you’re still making that f–king backward story about seven dwarfs living in a cave together.” ” What on earth are you doing? Have I not used my soapbox to further the cause? I suppose I don’t make enough noise.

Additionally, after Zegler attacked Trump supporters, some Disney fans threatened to boycott the film.

One individual posted on social media, “I hope you get no peace when this film BOMBS at the box office and streaming.”

Disney is said to have chosen a low-key opening over the customary media-packed red carpet because of the controversy surrounding the movie.

Variety reports that only photographers and an inside crew would be allowed to attend the March 15 event.
