Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ home worker falls from roof as shocking allegations emerge after detention.

A serious incident at Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ’s home in Istanbul has triggered an investigation after a Turkmenistan national working at the property fell from the roof and was seriously injured.

The incident happened on August 31 at the actor’s detached home in Göktürk, where renovation and painting work was being carried out. The injured worker, identified in Turkish reports as Bahadur Yangibayev, was taken to hospital and remains in intensive care.

What Happened at Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ Home?

According to reports based on statements and a criminal complaint, a company owner identified as A.A., 42, had been carrying out painting and plaster work at the house with an employee.

The renovation was expected to take around four days. During the work, Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ’s driver reportedly said that the house would also need to be cleaned once the renovation was finished.

A.A. reportedly said he knew someone who could handle the cleaning. The driver then contacted Yangibayev, and the two sides allegedly agreed on the work and payment.

Yangibayev later went to the property to carry out the cleaning.

According to the reports, he went onto the roof during the cleaning work. A short time later, a loud noise was heard, and Yangibayev was found on the ground after falling.

He was immediately taken to hospital and later placed in intensive care. Turkish media reported on Sunday that his treatment was still continuing.

Contractor Was Detained After the Accident

Following the incident, A.A. was detained as part of the investigation.

In his statement to the Gaziosmanpaşa Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, however, he denied that Yangibayev was his employee.

A.A. reportedly told investigators that neither he nor his employee had instructed Yangibayev to climb onto the roof. He also maintained that he had no responsibility for the accident. He was later released following questioning by the prosecutor.

But what allegedly happened while A.A. was at the police station has now added another layer to the case.

Lawyer Faces Allegations Over a Contract

A.A. claimed that a man who identified himself as Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ’s lawyer, İbrahim Ateş, came to the police station while he was being detained.

According to A.A.’s account, Ateş told him he would help him and then asked him to sign a three-page contract.

A.A. said the first page referred to a painting and renovation agreement, but claimed he could not read the contents of the remaining pages at the time. He later alleged that the document was backdated and could have been used to place responsibility for the incident on him.

His lawyer, Fatma Uluca Telli, subsequently filed complaints with the Istanbul Bar Association and the prosecutor’s office, requesting an investigation into Ateş.

The complaint reportedly alleges that Ateş used his professional status while A.A. was detained and attempted to influence him. It also names Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ and Ateş as suspects and asks authorities to obtain the original contract.

Serious Claims, But Investigation Is Ongoing

A.A. has further alleged that after Yangibayev fell, people claimed the injured man was his employee and that responsibility was being placed on him.

These claims have been reported as part of his statement and the subsequent complaints. They have not been established by a court, and the investigation is still ongoing.

Meanwhile, Yangibayev remains hospitalized following the serious fall.

The case has now moved beyond an ordinary workplace accident, with authorities examining the circumstances surrounding the fall, the employment relationship and the allegations concerning the contract.

As the investigation continues, the central questions will be who was responsible for the worker’s presence on the roof, what safety arrangements were in place, and what exactly happened at the police station after the accident.
