Saudi Crown Prince arrives in UAE on a private visit

Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman arrived in the UAE on a private visit on Sunday

During his visit, the Crown Prince met with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, according to the Emirati state news agency WAM.

The two leaders “stressed the importance of enhancing joint Arab action, both bilaterally and collectively, in light of the difficult conditions the region is going through,” WAM said.

They also stressed “the importance of concerted efforts to maintain regional stability and spare the region the consequences of new crises that threaten its security and stability,” it added.

The leaders also emphasized the importance of “working to find a path to a just, comprehensive and lasting peace based on the two-state solution and ensuring stability and security for all,” the agency said.

Earlier on Sunday, the Saudi Crown Prince was in Kuwait where he attended the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Leaders’ Summit.
