Saudi Arabia’s budget revenues reach $90.3 billion in Q2 2026

Saudi Arabia’s second-quarter 2026 budget report showed total revenues of $90.3 billion (338.7 billion riyals), while total expenditure reached $99.5 billion (373 billion riyals), resulting in a budget deficit of $9.1 billion (34.3 billion riyals).
The report, released on Thursday, showed that total revenues for the first half of 2026 reached $159.9 billion (599.6 billion riyals), while expenditure totaled $202.6 billion (759.8 billion riyals), leaving a deficit of $42.7 billion (160 billion riyals) during the period.
Saudi Arabia’s oil revenues rose 28 percent in the second quarter compared with the first quarter to $49.3 billion (185 billion riyals). They were also up 22 percent year-on-year in the second quarter and increased 9 percent in the first half of the year compared with the same period in 2025.
Non-oil revenues increased 32 percent in the second quarter from the first quarter to $41.1 billion (154 billion riyals). They also rose 3 percent year-on-year in the second quarter and were up 2 percent in the first half of the year compared with the corresponding period a year earlier.
On the spending side, total expenditure fell 3.6 percent in the second quarter from the first quarter to $99.5 billion (373 billion riyals).
