Russian missiles strike Kryvyi Rih and Odesa: Ukrainian officials
Russian forces launched missile strikes on Friday on a food storage depot in the central Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih and a recreational site in the Black Sea port of Odesa, local Ukrainian officials said.
Serhiy Lysak, governor of Dnipropetrovsk region, said on the Telegram messaging app that two people were injured in the attack in Kryvyi Rih, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s home town.
A fire was quickly extinguished.
A picture posted on his channel showed a building largely reduced to rubble.
In Odesa, regional governor Oleh Kiper said the missile attack hit a recreational site and emergency teams quickly put out a fire. No one was injured.
