Riyadh Season 2023: CR7 Museum to offer intimate peek into life of football legend

A museum displaying football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo’s career has opened in Saudi Arabia as part of a major tourist and entertainment festival Riyadh Season.

At the mobile museum, Ronaldo fans will have the opportunity to see the Portuguese footballer’s collection of personal memorabilia, including match-worn jerseys, prizes, and iconic footwear, offering an intimate look into the life of the football legend.

From Ronaldo’s first steps on the pitch to his record-breaking achievements, the artifacts at the CR7 Museum document every aspect of his career from across major soccer leagues, including his present achievements at the Saudi club Al Nassr.

The museum will have various interactive exhibits, bringing Ronaldo’s most memorable matches and championships to life through interactive displays. Visitors will have a unique chance to witness the array of trophies and medals earned by Ronaldo, including his five prestigious Ballon d’Or awards.

Riyadh Season is an annual state-funded entertainment and sports festival, started as part of 11 entertainment festivals organized under Saudi Seasons initiative launched in 2019.

The annual festival will continue until March during winter and spring . Nestled in the heart of Riyadh, the festival kicked off this year under the motto ‘Big Time’ on October 28 and is drawing thousands of visitors.

The festival aims to turn the Saudi capital into a global entertainment and tourist destination. Beyond the CR7 Museum, the Riyadh Season offers an array of exciting events. From cultural displays to entertainment shows, visitors can expect a thrilling fusion of entertainment, culture, and sports.
