Richard Gere did indicate that he’s not out of America forever and said, “Of course I’ll be back.”

It’s all about an equivalent exchange. Gere also brought up that they spent seven years together in the US, so they’re going to spend a couple in Madrid.

Richard Gere also deemed his wife a “Soulmate,” further adding that he’s happy to see her with her family in Madrid. Despite being happy with each other, social media users didn’t take too kindly to the 34-year age gap between the couple, calling it things like “Disgusting” and “Inappropriate.”

On the contrary, several social media users took to the couple’s defense adding that they are both adults who are free to do what they deem right if they’re not hurting anybody.

One internet user said under The Daily Mail comments section discussing the matter in question, “By the time them kids hit puberty, he’ll be pushing up daisies.. ughh – I think that’s cruel having kids so late!”

Another added, “Must be great being married to grandpa!” and “He will always look like her Grandfather.”
