Radwa El-Sherbiny’s anger and Basma Wahba’s shake up transportation company in Egypt
Celebrities, social media pioneers and Egyptian society protested and boycotted this firm two days after the attempted abduction and assault of Egyptian citizen Nabila Awad by a driver in a transportation company.
After Basma Wahba released a video yesterday proclaiming a “documented scandal” for this firm, the matter even gained public attention and was addressed on Egyptian shows. She claimed to have official documents denouncing the company and to be discussing them this evening.
In addition, Radwa El-Sherbiny detailed the accident on her official Instagram account. She said that the driver’s attorney questioned the medical report that Nabila had produced after her hand injury.
Saying that boycotting this firm is insufficient, Radwa El-Sherbiny criticized its lack of responsibility. She also brought up the Habiyet Al-Shammaa incident and insisted that the drivers of this firm be held responsible.
In this video, Radwa El-Sherbiny seemed upset and included images of the driver and the vehicle along with a photo of Nabila, the victim’s hand, after the injury. “Drivers need to undergo periodic tests, cars need to have cameras, and before hiring them, their psychological states need to be disclosed,” she stated. Then ridicule and simile them.
Screenwriter Tamer Habib was one of the celebrities who addressed the matter. He posted on his official Instagram account that he had witnessed harassment of a 15-year-old young man in a car owned by another transportation company and urged everyone to boycott all of these businesses.
