Pokimane apologizes for calling her fans “Broke” amid cookie brand launch
Popular Twitch streamer Pokimane took to her official X account (formerly known as Twitter) to apologize for offending her fans and calling them broke for criticizing her new brand of cookies, Myna.
This all happened after Pokimane was live-streaming on Twitch and mocked her fans after sharing their opinion and understandably criticizing the pricing of the cookies since they go for a whopping $28 for four packs making them more expensive than other brands in the competition, including healthy snacks like it.

The popular Twitch streamer said that it was “100% intended to be a joke” and understood how she could have come across as insensitive.
Pokimane later apologized for her comments on the matter, adding that the prices can be expensive for some people and promising that they are considering making Myna as affordable as possible in the future.
She later added as a reply that this was intended for one of her rude fans and not as a general statement about her community as a whole.

X users had a lot to say on Dexerto’s post about the apology:
“28 for 4 packs, 7 dollars for a 4 oz bag. However, you cannot buy a single bag, so you should just say 28 per package. Her arguing on the matter is straight-up bs.”
“Did anyone have “It was just a joke” on their bingo card?”
“she is done for”
“Guys it was a joke” She expects us to believe it?”
