Palestinian artist killed in Gaza war
A Palestinian artist was killed in Gaza City, as a result of an Israeli raid on her home in the Gaza Strip.
According to Palestinian media sources, Enas Al-Saqqa and her two daughters, Lynn and Sarah were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Gaza.
Digital creator Mar’i Bashir posted about the death of his beloved friend Enas Al-Saqqa and her two daughters.
He said: “Friend and theater artist Enas Al-Saqqa and her two daughters, Lynn and Sarah, are martyrs. Enas is a talented artist. We worked together in the Summer Games project in UNRWA schools, during the implementation of drama and theater workshops with children, and we participated in many theatrical and cultural events in Gaza.
May God have mercy on you, Enas, and our condolences to colleagues and friends in the theatrical and cultural scene.”
Israeli airstrikes have raised the death toll in the Gaza Strip to 8,525, according to the Health Ministry on Tuesday.
In detail, “the victims include 3,542 children and 2,187 women,” ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra told a press conference in Gaza City. He added: “while 21,543 other people were injured.”
In addition, the Ministry of Health has received reports of 2,000 trapped under the rubble, including 1,100 kids.
