Ozempic: The weight loss drug haunting Hollywood stars
With the rise and trend of weight loss drugs among people around the world, one drug seems to have made its way to Hollywood, and not in a positive way since doctors are referring to whoever is affected by it as having an “Ozempic Face”.
According to Dail Mail UK, several doctors claimed that many stars have allegedly fallen victim to the drug in question including John Goodman, Jessica Simpson, Scott Disick, and Sharon Osbourne are among the stars most affected by it.
One user said on social media, “They would rather be fat than have an Ozempic Face”.

Side effects of using a drug like Ozempic include having sunken eyes, sagging skin, and bony cheeks which results in the individual looking older and unhealthy if they take it for a prolonged time. This could also be caused as a result of rapid weight loss which this drug promotes.
Hollywood stars used this drug as a last resort for weight loss and after surgeons examined 15 celebrities who underwent weight loss, they predicted that almost half of them suffered from the side effects mentioned above.
Moreover, an analysis showcases that the side effects are less prominent in women than men as they usually use makeup and cosmetics to cover them up.
The medicine is designed for people suffering from Type 2 diabetes and is usually prescribed to celebrities suffering from it to see weight loss results fast.
Additionally, It’s injected once a week using a syringe in the stomach, thigh, or arm to help the pancreas release the right amount of insulin. Despite being prescription only, some people who only need to lose a slight bit of weight are abusing it which results in a worrying mass loss.
