Adrien Brody, Cate Blanchett and Idris Elba were among the stars walking the red carpet ahead of Sunday’s Olivier Awards.
The event is the biggest night in UK theatre, celebrating the best stage productions of the last 12 months.

Sharon D. Clarke was recognised in the best supporting actress category for The Importance Of Being Earnest
Frozen star Samantha Barks made it to the Oliviers fresh from her concert at the London Palladium earlier in the day
Lesley Manville went on to best actress for her performance in Oedipus
