No representatives from Saudi Arabia took part in MBZ-Netanyahu meeting: Source

Saudi Arabia did not send representatives to a meeting between the UAE president and Israeli prime minister, a Saudi source said.

Israeli media claimed that Saudi representatives took part in the meeting between Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and Benjamin Netanyahu, which took place in Abu Dhabi earlier this week.

The Saudi source said that these reports were not true.

The Emirates News Agency and Netanyahu’s office released a statement confirming that the UAE president and Israeli prime minister sat down to discuss bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them.

Reuters, citing Israeli officials, reported that the meeting went on for about six hours and focused on Iran.
