Nesreen Tafesh hits Cannes Film Festival with her new husband
Algerian-Syrian actress and singer Nesreen Tafesh recently took to her official Instagram account and revealed through a series of stories that she arrived at Cannes, France, alongside her newlywed husband, Ahmed Gohar.
Tafesh arrived with her husband in Cannes to attend the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, which will run from May 13 to 24.
The festival will showcase a variety of media, such as films and documentaries, while featuring renowned celebrities including Robert De Niro, Denzel Washington, Jodie Foster, Tom Cruise, and many more.
The Syrian star also shared the hotel she’s staying at and an airplane photo in anticipation of the landing.

Rumors about her new husband erupted in January during Riyadh’s 2025 Joy Awards, when Nesreen Tafesh announced the news to Boussy Shalaby, a famous Egyptian media figure. At the time, she refused to disclose Ahmed Gohar’s name, but clarified that he is an Egyptian businessman.
Gohar is Tafesh’s third husband and is rumored to be 10 years younger than her. She was previously married to Egyptian singer Sherif Sharkawy, but divorced him on July 13, 2023.
Nisreen Tafesh’s recent marriage marks a new beginning as she ventures into new projects and festivals in the entertainment industry.
