Modern Family’s Aubrey Anderson-Emmons comes out as LGBTQ+ in pride month

Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, star of Modern Family, is living her truth in the most famous way possible.
The actress, who is only 18 years old and portrayed the role of Lily Tucker-Pritchett on the popular ABC comedy for almost a decade, has revealed that she is bisexual and a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community. This announcement was made in appreciation of Pride Month.
An memorable statement from a sequence that Anderson-Emmons taped when she was only a young girl was used as a way for her to pay tribute to the series while she was sharing the personal announcement.
During the sequence, her on-screen aunt Gloria Delgado-Pritchett, who was represented by Sofía Vergara, informed a young Lily that she was Vietnamese. In response, the small girl said, “No, I’m not, I’m gay, I’m gay!”

Following this, one of Lily’s fathers, Mitchell Prittchett, played by Jesse Tyler Ferguson, gives a response that goes something like this: “Honey, no, you’re not gay. You simply do not understand!”
While repeating the scenario, Anderson-Emmons laughed along with it. She also added a note that appeared on the screen that said, “people keep joking so much about me being gay when I literally am (I’m bi).”
According to the message that Anderson-Emmons added to the video, “happy pride month to all and to all a goodnight hehehe #modernfamily#lily#pridemonth#bi#pride,”
Anderson-Emmons was met with an amazing amount of enthusiastic feedback from her followers, with many of them making jokes about how her on-screen fathers Mitch and Cam would be “so proud.”
Anderson-Emmons has been concentrating on her schooling ever since the conclusion of the season of Modern Family in the year 2020. However, she has lately revealed that she will be releasing music under the name Frances Anderson as part of a new artist partnership.
Her debut track, titled “Telephones and Traffic,” was released around the end of the previous month, and she is planning to release her second single, titled “Don’t Forget Me,” on June 27 that same month. It is possible to observe Anderson-Emmons swaying back and forth with another woman in the teaser video for the new single.
