Michele Morrone apologizes to Algerian boxer Imane Khelif after unfair claims

 Italian artist Michele Moroni has issued a public apology to gold medal-winning Algerian boxer Imane Khelif, saying that he was incorrect to feel angry about losing to Khalif in earlier rounds of the competition and that he thought Khalif’s win was unfair.

While publicly apologizing to Iman Khalif for his earlier claims that the match between her and the Italian was unfair, he uploaded a photo of Iman to his personal profile on one of the social media sites.

Apologies to the Algerian individuals who took offense to my remarks; I was too eager to post before I had all the facts. He ended by saying, “I know that we as humans make mistakes, but admitting the mistake is the most important thing.”
