MBS to Iran’s president: Kingdom will not allow its airspace or land to be used for attack

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman told the Iranian president on Tuesday that the Kingdom would not allow its airspace or territory to be used for any military attack on Iran.
The US has threatened to attack Iran in recent weeks following the regime’s brutal crackdown on nationwide anti-government protests.
US President Donald Trump has also ordered the deployment of an aircraft carrier and additional military assets to the region in preparation for a potential attack.
During Tuesday’s phone call initiated by Masoud Pezeshkian, the Iranian president explained the latest developments in Iran as well as the latest developments in talks on the nuclear file.
The US and Iran have been engaged in on- and off talks regarding Iran’s nuclear program, which the United States says it wiped out last summer during unprecedented strikes on three underground facilities throughout Iran.
“For his part, the Crown Prince stressed during the call the Kingdom’s position in respecting the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and that the Kingdom will not allow the use of its airspace or territory in any military actions against the Islamic Republic of Iran or any attacks from any side, regardless of its destination,” according to a readout of the call.
