Mark Wahlberg goes bald for flight risk.
The actor posted a video of his dramatic makeover and shave on Instagram on Thursday. It features Mark sitting on a barber’s chair while his stylist trims his dark hair.
“I am slightly concerned, but he is returning. Oh, by the way, who are you observing?” The person filming Wahlberg hears him say, “He will disappear.”
After shaving the front of his hair at the conclusion of the teaser video, Mark posted on Instagram with the message, “Check out @flightriskmovie.” It’s true—no helmet, no bald patch.
Fans praised Mark’s new and unfamiliar style in the video, saying it “suits him” and that he looks “20 years younger.” The video swiftly went viral on social media.
One fan commented, “You look good in this outfit. My friend, happy new year!” Nothing can ruin a handsome man,” said another. Another wrote, “He looks 20 years younger, bro!” in support of the claim that his new appearance makes him appear younger. Another user added a laughing emoji and commented, “This should be your new profile picture.”
Wahlberg will portray a pilot assigned to take US police officer Michelle Dockery across the Alaskan wilderness on their route to New York City in the upcoming thriller, according to Flight Risk.
“Flight Risk” will hit theaters on January 24, 2025. The film narrates an exciting journey where trust is tested and tensions escalate due to the fact that everyone on board is not who they seem to be.
In late June 2024, Marc shaved his head for the same role. His appearance shocked his wife, Rhea Durham, and caused a lot of controversy. “There’s no bald cap for me; we do the best we can,” he said in an interview with People magazine.
“There was no bald cap; I shaved the middle and left around the sides,” he said, describing the shaving procedure. He continued: “The crew’s hairdressers shaved the top of my hair as close to the scalp as possible every day, because we didn’t have any stubble or anything like that, so I would hide it with a hat.”
