Kremlin says Ukrainian drones hit two Russian oil refineries, Kyiv denies

Russia claimed Wednesday that Ukraine had used drones to attack two oil refineries on Russian soil, accusing it of violating an “energy ceasefire” declared by US President Donald Trump — an allegation Kyiv denied.

“Two oil refineries were attacked today by the Kyiv regime, in the Saratov and Ryazan regions,” Russian Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Alexander Novak was quoted as saying by Russian news agencies.

Dmytro Lytvyn, an advisor to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, denied the accusation as “fake,” saying other sites had been hit, “but the refineries were not.”
