Kremlin says Iran has not requested Russian arms supplies

The Kremlin said on Thursday that Iran had not approached Moscow with a request for arms supplies and that Russia’s position on the matter was well-known.

Meanwhile, Russia accused the United States and Israel of trying to drag Arab countries into a wider Middle East conflict by provoking Iran into striking at targets across the region.
