Katy Perry reacts to Taylor Swift “Bad Blood” at a Sydney Eras tour
Katy Perry has a hilarious reaction to Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” performance at the Eras Tour in Sydney, Australia. The two pop stars, who were once rivals, have since reconciled and become friends.
Perry attended Swift’s concert on Friday, February 23, 2024, and shared a series of videos and photos on her Instagram account. She captioned the post, “Got to see an old friend shine tonight ♥️✨.”
One of the videos showed Perry watching Swift sing “Bad Blood,” the 1989 hit that was reportedly inspired by their feud over backup dancers. Perry made a funny face, opening her eyes wide and sticking out her tongue, as if to mock the song’s lyrics.
Swift and Perry ended their beef in 2019, when they hugged in Swift’s music video for “You Need to Calm Down.” Perry also sent Swift an olive branch, a symbol of peace, before her Reputation Stadium Tour.
The Eras Tour is Swift’s latest world tour, promoting her re-recorded albums. The Sydney show featured special guests such as Sabrina Carpenter, Travis Kelce, and Rita Ora. Swift also announced a new version of her upcoming album, The Tortured Poets Department, with a bonus track called “The Albatross.”
