Justin Timberlake cancels Columbus concert last-minute

Justin Timberlake canceled his concert in Columbus shortly before it was set to begin Thursday evening.

Hours before he was scheduled to perform in Columbus, Ohio, the “SexyBack” singer announced that he was canceling the last show in the United States of his Forget Tomorrow World Tour due to illness.

He stated, “You guys, I’m heartbroken,” in an Instagram post on February 27. “I must call off tonight’s performance. I was fighting the flu going into soundcheck, but it has already overcome me.

The 44-year-old continued by apologizing for the last-minute cancellation.

He went on, “My team worked so hard to make this show happen, and it kills me to disappoint you.” “I want to assure you that we will refund your tickets.” I cherish each and every one of you.

Earlier in the day, Justin’s wife, Jessica Biel, with whom he has two sons, Phineas, 4, and Silas, 9, paid a heartfelt homage to her husband of twelve years, marking the anticipated end of the tour.

The actress from 7th Heaven posted videos of herself dancing at Justin’s performances to Instagram along with the caption, “There’s truly nothing this man can’t do.” Being with you on this tour, watching you, and listening to you has been incredibly special. Tonight is your last performance, so give it your all. I am the most proud.

According to his official website, Justin is still scheduled to play a number of festival appearances throughout Europe and Latin America later this year, in addition to playing as the main act at the BottleRock Napa Valley event in Napa, California, despite the postponement.

When he was arrested for driving under the influence on Long Island in June, the *NSYNC alumnus suffered yet another setback during his concert run. He later admitted to driving under the influence, a noncriminal traffic infraction, and consented to pay a fine and complete community service.

After reaching the plea agreement, he told reporters in September, “As you may know, I try to hold myself to a very high standard for myself—and this was not that.” “I faced a situation where I could have made a different decision, but I’ve had ample time to consider it.”

“I hope whoever is watching and listening right now can learn from this mistake,” he said, acknowledging that the offense was “a mistake that I made.” I am aware that I most definitely have.
