Israeli military urges residents of southern Lebanese town of Nabatieh to leave

Israel’s military on Tuesday warned residents of the southern Lebanese town of Nabatieh to leave ahead of possible airstrikes.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday that Israel will escalate strikes against Hezbollah in Lebanon, as a US official said the militia had ignored warnings to halt firing at Israel, in a conflict that could threaten US-Iran negotiations.
