A study conducted in the United States revealed that individuals who consume significant amounts of sugar, regardless of its source, such as fruit juice, cakes, and chocolate, have a 54% higher susceptibility to dementia. Inflammation in the brain is believed to play a role in neurodegenerative conditions like Alzheimer’s disease.
