Hande Erçel and Barış Arduç reunite in “Aşk ve Gözyaşı,” Turkish remake of Queen of Tears

Hande Erçel and Barış Arduç reunite for emotional new series “Aşk be Gözyaşı” on ATV.

Aşk ve Gözyaşı (Love and Tears), the Turkish version of the hit South Korean show Queen of Tears, is set to make its debut on ATV in September. Hande Erçel and Barış Arduç, two actors who are loved by fans, are set to start shooting next week on the much-anticipated drama.

The show was made by O3 Medya and Dass Yapım. It is Erçel and Arduç’s second project together after working together on the love movie Rüzgara Bırak. Aşk ve Gözyaşı, which was written by Dilara Pamuk and directed by Engin Erden, will look at what happens after what seems to be a “happily ever after.”

Barış Arduç will play Selim, and Hande Erçel will play Meyra. These two characters’ marriage starts to fall apart in strange ways, even though it seemed perfect at first. There will be a new take on love, death, and how fragile relationships can be in this series, which promises emotional depth and gripping stories.

This week, the group got together for their first reading of the script, which got fans and the media excited. Both stars have huge fan bases in Turkey and around the world, so Aşk ve Gözyaşı should get a lot of viewers when it starts airing on Friday nights this fall.

This big project by Hande Erçel solidifies her position as a top actress, and Barış Arduç gives another interesting part his trademark depth and intensity.

As long as Turkish shows are so popular around the world, Aşk ve Gözyaşı could become the next big thing. This show is already shaping up to be one of the most talked-about starts of the year, thanks to its powerful cast and touching plot.
