Hackers took over Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3
Activision and Infinity Ward announced the release of the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 beta on Oct. 6, 2023, and to no one’s surprise, hackers are back at it again.
Call of Duty is one of the most popular FPS games on the planet with millions of players logging in every day to play its live service battle royale, Warzone.
Fans of the franchise downloaded the beta for Modern Warfare 3 to experience the game, only to get bombarded with hackers on consoles and PCs alike.
Hackers took over Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3
Drama Alert shared a video on their official X (formerly known as Twitter) account showcasing a death cam of a player with wall and aim hacking. It was surprising to many after it was found that the gameplay was on a console which is a rare occurrence.
Some people claimed in the comment section that the hacker faked playing on a console by using a capture card and a Titan 2.
In defense of Activision, hackers whether they use aimbot, wallhack, or other forms of hacking, are very hard to fully stop, especially from entering online matches unless players toggle off the cross-platform option and play with fellow console users instead of PC.
