German minister says NATO well on way to joining up with the US in Arctic mission

NATO partners are well on the way to joining forces with the US on a proposed mission in the Arctic, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said on Tuesday.

Talks at a military level within NATO were going well, as far as he knew, Pistorius added at an economic event in Berlin, cautioning he did not know for certain as negotiations were ongoing.
