Georgina Cooper, renowned 1990s model, dies at 46 in Greece after recent marriage

Saturday, November 9, following the revelation of model Georgina Cooper’s death at the age of 46, months after her marriage.

Georgina’s grin, which spaced out her front teeth, made her famous in the 1990s. Her celebrity dates back to when she was fifteen years old and appeared in a music video for Bon Jovi.

As the world said goodbye to one of its most renowned fashion pioneers, the British model passed away while visiting Greece, according to her former agent Dean Goodman.

The Daily Mail newspaper said that Goodman said, “She loved Greece and told me she would return with her new husband, but she tragically passed away there two weeks ago.”

Cooper, who gave up modeling to raise her son Sonny, has been dealing with health issues over the previous several years, according to Goodman.

“Georgina was sick during COVID; she had some health issues and was in and out of the hospital, but she had plans for the future; she had just gotten married and was looking forward to her life; everyone is devastated; she was a real star,” he continued.

Cooper, who collaborated with renowned photographer Corinne Day and was close to other modeling celebrities like Kate Moss, became well-known on social media after the announcement of her death.

“She was laid-back and a lot of fun when she was young; she made a lot of money, and she had a very bold personality,” said Carol White, a former CEO of a modeling agency, in an interview with WWD magazine. The space between her teeth caught everyone’s attention.

Model Jade Parfitt also praised Cooper’s friendliness and humility, telling the fashion magazine: “She was a very social person, one of the models who never changed.” Her constant authenticity drew everyone to her.

She went on: “She never had an ego despite her massive success in the industry; her energy was infectious; she’s someone you always gravitate towards backstage because you know you’re going to have a lot of fun talking to her.”
