Drag Race star Jiggly Caliente dies at 44

 

Filipino-American Drag Race star Jiggly Caliente passed away at the age of 44 after battling a series of health issues and suffering from a “severe infection,” according to her family. 

The star, whose real name is Bianca Castro-Arabejo, rose to fame after appearing in RuPaul’s Drag Race Philippines as a judge in 2022. The family confirmed her death through a statement on April 27, 2025. The statement read:

“It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Bianca Castro-Arabejo, known to the world and cherished by many as Jiggly Caliente. Bianca passed away peacefully on April 27, 2025, at 4:42 am, surrounded by her loving family and close friends.”

The family added, “A luminous presence in the worlds of entertainment and advocacy, Jiggly Caliente was celebrated for her infectious energy, fierce wit, and unwavering authenticity.”

It read further, “She touched countless lives through her artistry, activism, and the genuine connection she fostered with fans around the world. Her legacy is one of love, courage, and light. Though her physical presence is gone, the joy she shared and the space she helped create for so many will remain forever. She will be deeply missed, always loved, and eternally remembered.”

Days before her passing, Jiggly Caliente suffered a major health setback after being forced to get her leg amputated, preventing her from participating in RuPaul’s Drag Race Philippines and other possible public events. During her health setback, many fans took to Jiggly’s official socials to showcase their support in such difficult times.
