Donna Kelce shares Thanksgiving plans, says Taylor Swift likely won’t join
During an interview on the “Today” show on Thursday, the mother of two answered questions about her plans for the November holiday.
The 72-year-old mother of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Donna Kelce, provided information about whether the 34-year-old pop star would spend the holiday with the Kelces.
“I don’t believe so. She’s now quite busy. In reference to Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour, which will conclude in Vancouver on Sunday, December 8, Donna remarked, “She still has her tour to do.”
However, Donna says the Kelces’ Thanksgiving week will be football-focused because Travis is in the thick of the NFL season.
Not that there are any plans. We’re just going to the football game, I believe,” she continued.
Although their plans are still tentative, Donna acknowledged that she does not anticipate the 34-year-old 14-time Grammy winner joining them for Thanksgiving this year.
“She has her tour to do,” Donna said, referring to the singer’s Eras Tour, which will kick off its Canadian leg on Thursday.
The Chiefs have won nine straight games. Their most recent game was a 16-14 victory over the Denver Broncos on Sunday, November 10.
Swift watched as Travis, 35, tied Tony Gonzalez for the most touchdown receptions in Chiefs history, making Chiefs history.
Swift spoke candidly about the two’s resolve to stick by one another in spite of the limelight surrounding their romance when she was named Time’s 2023 Person of the Year in December.
“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves; we’re showing up for each other; other people are there, and we don’t care,” she continued. “The opposite of that is that you have to go to extreme lengths to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone.”
The singer went on, “We’re just proud of each other.”
