Diddy indictment Update: Prosecutors say he dangled victim over balcony

Prosecutors allege Diddy dangled a victim over a balcony as new sex trafficking details emerge.

The indictment against Sean “Diddy” Combs was updated on Thursday by the prosecution, which stated that the hip-hop legend is accused of sex trafficking at least three women and of allegedly dangling someone off a hotel balcony during a two-decade racketeering operation. The trial is slated to take place in May.

The federal court in Manhattan received and published the updated indictment. Marc Agnifilo, an attorney representing Combs, stated that the supplementary indictment does not include any additional accusations with regard to crimes.

After his arrest in September, Combs, who is 55 years old, entered a plea of not guilty to the counts of sex trafficking that were brought against him. A trial is scheduled to take place on May 5th, and he is still being held without bail.

In the supplementary indictment, the prosecution extended the duration of the alleged racketeering conspiracy by four years, stating that it spanned from about 2004 until 2024. Initially, the indictment said that the plot had begun by the year 2008.

“Victim-1,” “Victim-2,” and “Victim-3” were the only names given to the three female victims according to the indictment, which said that there are at least three female victims.

It was alleged by the prosecution that Combs utilized the “power and prestige” he possessed as a music tycoon to coerce, threaten, and draw women into his orbit, frequently under the guise of a love relationship.

After that, he allegedly utilized force, threats, and coercion to force victims, including the three women, to engage in sexual acts for commercial purposes, as stated in the indictment.

His victims were subjected to verbal abuse, threats of violence, threats of financial and reputational ruin, and threats of physical violence, according to the report.

The report accused Combs of repeatedly hitting, dragging, choking, pushing, and throwing objects and people. “Combs was responsible for dangling a victim over the balcony of an apartment on one occasion.”

Regarding the claim, the prosecution could not provide any additional information.

According to a statement released by Agnifilo, Combs expresses his continued dedication to defending the charges.

“The government has added the ridiculous theory that two of Mr. Combs’ former girlfriends were not girlfriends at all but were prostitutes,” the statement reads.
