Colin Farrell to return as The Penguin in Batman sequels
After a brilliant finale to what seems to be one of DC and HBO’s best shows to date, The Penguin star and Irish actor Collin Farrell has revealed that he will be coming back as Gotham’s biggest gangster in several scenes in the upcoming Batman movie starring Robert Pattinson.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Farrell said that he will appear in five or six scenes as The Penguin in Batman’s upcoming sequel and might also star in a third film despite showing signs of not being the biggest fan of the DC villain’s suit and makeup procedure.

Farrell said, “I never want to put that fucking suit and that f**king head on again,” but his comments were made before the show was deemed a fan-favorite and garnered high ratings.
He added recently, “I do believe I know him better than anyone now”.
Farrel further told The Hollywood Reporter, that he’s keen on returning for a season 2 if the writing will be as strong as the first season. Collin Farrell is considered one the most talented actors in the industry due to his versatility in starring in different movie genres including drama and dark comedy.
Our favorite of his has to be the Dark Comedy movie ‘In Bruges’ where he starred with fellow talented actor Brendan Gleeson as hit men who have to escape from their ruthless boss in Bruges, Belgium.
The Penguin is currently sitting on an 8.8/10 rating on IMDB and a 95 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.
Without spoiling anything, please note that despite Colin Farrell’s brilliant portrayal of The Penguin, other actors like Cristin Miliot as Sofia Falcone, Deirdre O’Connell as Francis Cobb, and Rhenzy Feliz as Victor Aguilar all did an excellent job in their characters’ portrayal, further enhancing the experience.
