Coalition Joint Forces Command announces strikes on Houthi targets in Yemen’s Hodeidah

The Coalition Joint Forces Command said it launched attacks against Houthi military sites in Yemen’s Hodeidah late Friday.

Despite Houthi claims, the Coalition said it targeted military sites and not the Port of Hodeidah.

A statement from the Coalition affirmed that all ports in the governorate remained open to shipping.

The targets that were destroyed were linked to threats against commercial shipping in the Red Sea, according to the Coalition.

This comes shortly after a Saudi vessel was attacked in the Red Sea on Friday. This was at least the second such attack on a Saudi vessel this week.
