Chris Evans marries Alba Batista in an intimate ceremony in Cape Cod

Captain America star and now-wife Alba Batista have exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony in Cape Cod, Massachusetts surrounded by family and loved ones. 

Aside from having immediate family and relatives, Evans and Batista invited Chris’s Avengers co-stars Robert Downey Jr. and his wife, Susan; Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky; Jeremy Renner; and John Krasinski and Emily Blunt.

Chris has always been open about his thoughts on relationships and family. He once stated that he was pleased with life and with how everything has been going in an interview, emphasizing the importance of a good work-life balance and cherishing moments with loved ones.

“Those things are the most important. I love the idea of tradition and ceremony. I had a lot of that in my life, so the idea of creating that — I can’t think of anything better” Evans said.

He later had an on-again, off-again relationship with Jenny Slate as he rose to mega-fame in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
