Carole Samaha fulfills her late husband’s will and returns to the stage
Carole Samaha honors her late husband’s wishes by performing again, despite mourning and personal loss.
Carole Samaha made the decision to turn her grief into positive energy to continue her artistic career, despite the extreme sadness and challenging circumstances she is going through due to the death of her husband, producer Walid Mustafa. She did this in accordance with the late singer’s will, which stressed the importance of “continuing the work.”
This evening, Carole revealed via her account on the X platform the date of her comeback to the stage with the play “Kolo Masmooh.” This announcement demonstrates her strong resolve and dedication to her career.
Carole stated, “Despite the difficult circumstances and the sensitive period I am living through… I have a great responsibility and commitment to the work team and the 70 artists on stage.”
She also confirmed that her return comes in fulfillment of her late husband’s will, saying, “This was my husband Walid’s will: that no matter what happens, the work must continue…”
She also announced the dates of her theatrical performances, saying, “The opening of the play “Kolo Masmouh” will be on Monday and Tuesday, May 12 and 13… and the performances will be canceled on May 15, 16, and 17 at the Casino du Liban Theater. The journey continues, with pain… but with enormous faith.”
In addition, Carole was eager to express her gratitude to everyone who supported her during her suffering via X yesterday, Thursday, writing, “From my heart, I appreciate you in this trying moment… I want to express my gratitude to everyone who sent me condolence messages, came, called, or sent me thoughtful messages, including my family, friends, journalists, media professionals, and celebrities. I am stronger and more resilient because of your love during this terrible time. I pray that God will keep you all happy.
Last Monday, Carole received condolences for her husband’s death in Egypt at the Police Mosque in Sheikh Zayed, where a notable number of celebrities and media professionals were present. On Thursday, she returned to Lebanon to receive condolences once more, this time from a sizable group of friends and artists.
