Bella Hadid shares tragic photo of her burned-out Malibu home in LA wildfires
Bella Hadid posted a moving picture of her Malibu childhood house burning during a slew of wildfires engulfing Los Angeles on Instagram.
Bella tweeted a picture depicting the devastation to the house that belonged to the Hadid family—including Bella, her sister Gigi, and their mother, Yolanda Hadid.
The house, situated in one of Malibu’s most elite neighborhoods, was a major feature of the blockbuster reality program “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”. During the early seasons of the program, the opulent estate served as a backdrop for drama and dinner parties, and its walls witnessed numerous legendary events involving Hollywood’s top celebrities, such as Taylor Armstrong, Kim Richards, Lisa Vanderpump, and others.

Bella posted a moving picture from inside the wrecked house on Instagram Stories, captioning it “Childhood bedroom” with an emoji that matched her melancholic emotions. With just the timber frames and charred walls remaining, the second picture she provided displayed a better glimpse of the ruins of the house. The once-bustling house was now a burning ruin among the wildfires engulfing the region.
Family memories abound in this opulent property Yolanda Hadid purchased in 2007 for $4.5 million. The Hadid family resided in the house for many years, during which she undertook renovations that reflected her personal interests. After eight years of residing in the house, Yolanda and her then-husband, singer David Foster, decided to sell it in 2015. Multiple seasons of “Housewives” have highlighted the property, introducing it to fans.

There were other fires in the Los Angeles vicinity besides the one that wrecked this house. Wild flames have also engulfed several upscale residences in Los Angeles, including Kylie Jenner’s rented house. Starting in the affluent Pacific Palisades region, the fire quickly spread under strong winds, causing damage to several expensive homes and prompting more than 30,000 residents to flee their homes in fear of the situation worsening.
The fire was a sobering reminder of the natural hazards Los Angeles faces because winds swept over the nearby communities, turning the ground into a sea of smoke and destruction. Firefighters valiantly tried, but the fire kept directly endangering homes and people in the region.
Bella and Yolanda had recently moved to Fort Worth, Texas, and this tragic incident had a profound effect on the Hadid family. Despite their relocation, these events remain in their recollections as unique experiences and a painful reminder of the time they spent in the opulent house that played a vital role in their lives.
