Ayman Zedan survives restaurant blast

Syrian actor Ayman Zedan announced on his Facebook page that “he is fine” after a blast occurred in a restaurant next to his house.

The 67-year-old man posted two photos of the blast which took place inside a pizza restaurant that happens to be very close to the Syrian actor’s house.

Ayman Zedan, who has 1.5 million followers on Facebook, reassured his fans that he is okay and that he wasn’t harmed by the blast, only material damage was reported, he maintained.

He wrote: “My friends. Gas canisters exploded in a pizza restaurant adjacent to my small house and the cafe … I am fine and my damage is material … Praise be to God always and may God protect all people.”

Many fans and colleagues have rushed to check on the Syrian actor after he posted the photos showing the damage left after the pizza restaurant blast.

Ayman Zedan, born on Sept. 1, 1956, is known for his rich career projects as he is famous for being a TV presenter, comedian, voice actor and actor of film, television, and theater.

Zedan starred in dozens of Syrian series including Nihayat Rajol Shoja’, Yawmiyat Modeer Aam, Yawmyaat Gamil w Hanaa, and Bab Al-Hara.
