Assassin’s Creed Red character revealed by writer
A Ubisoft employee and writer took to his official LinkedIn account and posted a potential design of a character from the upcoming Japanese Assassin’s Creed Red.
According to VGC, writer Pierre Boudreau showcased a cut image of an assassin character that could potentially be in the long-awaited Assassin’s Creed in feudal Japan.
Red is confirmed to be in development by the studio behind Oddysey, Ubisoft Quebec with the same creative director behind Valhalla.
Additionally, Ubisoft showcased a road map of their upcoming Assassin’s Creed games calling it “period three” which means the games coming in 2024 and future dates.

Other announced Assassin’s Creed games in “period three” include:
Assassin’s Creed: Code Jade
Assassin’s Creed: Code Jade is a AAA RPG from Ubisoft made specifically for mobile devices and is set in ancient China.
We still don’t know much about the game except for the video Ubisoft officially showcased in the embed post from X (formerly known as Twitter) above.
It’s not surprising to see an AC game coming to phones since the recent one, Mirage is also coming to the latest iPhone in early 2024.
Assassin’s Creed: Code Hexe
Ubisoft’s first AC horror game!
Hexe seems to be taking a darker route in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, based on the trailer Ubisoft showcased last year. It will be interesting to see how Ubisoft will incorporate the horror genre into Assassin’s Creed.
The trailer included a black forest and the iconic AC logo but with a twist, since it gave off a witchcraft vibe! Ubisoft confirmed that the game will be a full-fledged flagship, with Ubisoft Montreal working on it and Far Cry 2’s lead creative director, Clint Hocking.
