Asmongold banned on Twitch amid racist comments about Palestinians
Despite taking to his official X account (Formerly known as Twitter) and apologizing for making racist comments towards Palestinians and how they are inferior to the West, streaming platform Twitch carried on with its terms of service and banned Asmongold for two weeks.
The nearly two-minute clip which had Asmongold banned featured him saying, “They have genocide built into Sharia law right now, so no I’m not going to cry a fu**ing river when people who have genocide baked into their laws, are being genocided.”
“These people are not your allies, they are not the same as us,” referring to the Palestinians.

Despite being banned on his secondary Twitch account, Asmongold’s main one remains untouched by the streaming platform. Although his main account isn’t banned, he prefers streaming on the second one.
The news about Asmon’s ban went viral on Musk’s X, with its pro-Palestine users taking to several comments sections and voicing their opinions about the matter at hand. Here’s what they had to say:
“It will give him time to clean his room,” with a screenshot of Asmon’s room which is notoriously known to be so dirty that it has roaches roaming in it.
“Twitch finally banning the right people?”
“Good. It’s not an opinion, you’re allowed to have an opinion, but commenting on a whole culture being less superior is objectively wrong, especially to say out loud”.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza has resulted in the killing of at least 42,000 Palestinians without counting the lives lost under the rubble from the airstrikes and the injuring of more than 97,886.
