After mixing Gaza with Israel: Justin Bieber can’t pick a side
Canadian singer Justin Bieber landed on hot water after sharing a photo of ruin in Gaza with the statement “Praying for Israel.”
Bieber posted the photo showing destroyed buildings in the Gaza Strip by the Israeli forces’ assaults and wrote “Praying for Israel.” The Canadian singer then rapidly deleted his Instagram story.
After the first photo where he mixed Gaza with Israel, the singer then posted a story on his Instagram account, where he has 293 million followers. In the second post, Bieber said: “Truly hurting for both my Israeli and Palestinian friends.”
Then he added: “To vilianize, all Palestinians or all Israeli people to me seems wrong. I’m not interested in choosing sides.”
After sharing his second story claiming that the Canadian singer is not choosing a side in this Palestine-Israel conflict, Bieber reposted an Instagram story showing a green background along with “Praying for Israel” with a broken heart.
A heavy backlash was launched against Justin Bieber for his mixed reactions regarding the Israel-Gaza conflict in which at least 1,200 Palestinians were killed in Gaza with about 5,600 injured.
However, Justin Bieber was not the only celebrity who mixed Gaza with Israel, days ago, Jamie Lee Curtis posted a photo declaring solidarity with Israel, however, the photo was showing Palestinians in a UNRWA school in the Gaza Strip.
