Clavicular’s $7,500 ‘Camp Looksmax’ sparks criticism

Braden Peters, an American influencer best known as “Clavicular” and for his ‘looksmaxxing’ content, recently drew widespread criticism after launching ‘Camp Looksmax’ with a $7,500 entry fee.

Set in a Los Angeles mansion, the weeklong camp aims to teach participants lessons on dating, wardrobe upgrades, and plastic surgery. However, you don’t need to shell out $7,500 since Clavicular is streaming the camp on his official Kick channel, which has garnered nearly 450,000 followers.

Clavicular teamed up with fellow content creator Hexumlite to improve the participants’ appearance, confidence, and dating skills. It covers topics such as grooming, exercise, skincare, and classes on approaching women on the street and acting on a date.

The camp also has a competitive side. Organizers claim that one participant can receive $25,000 and that some attendees could return in future camps as “professors.”

Among the contestants was a 72-year-old billionaire who claimed that the looksmaxxing content creator changed his life for the better by improving his health and introducing him to peptides.

The controversial content creator was recently charged with rape and drugging a woman for sex, while also providing alcohol to a minor in Massachusetts, according to The Bulwark.

The charges were filed at a courthouse on Sept. 8, citing an incident that occurred on May 23, 2025. The alleged victim, 18-year-old content creator Aleksandra Vasilevna Mendoza (also known as Alorah Ziva), accused Clavicular of injecting her with Aqualyx without her consent during a livestream in 2025, as previously reported by CBS News.

Clavicular denied the allegations.
