Syrian Petroleum Company says explosion occurred at gas export pipeline in the northeast

Syria’s state-owned Syrian Petroleum Company said an explosion occurred at dawn on Tuesday at a gas export pipeline at Al-Jabsah gas plant in the country’s northeast, the Syrian state news agency reported.

The company said the explosion was a result of a “deliberate act of sabotage” based on initial investigations, adding no injuries were reported among workers.
