Erkan Kolçak Köstendil returns with Çare Messi and a star-studded cast

Erkan Kolçak Köstendil is returning to the big screen with a brand-new comedy film, Çare Messi, and it is already creating buzz in Turkey.

Known for standout performances in Çukur, Ulan İstanbul, and Yaratılan, Köstendil is taking on multiple roles in the project. He wrote the screenplay and will also star in the film.

Before becoming one of Turkey’s most recognizable actors, Erkan Kolçak Köstendil was deeply involved in football. He played as a goalkeeper in his younger years and was part of Bursaspor’s youth setup. The film is being produced by Polat Yağcı, one of the busiest producers in Turkish cinema recently. Director Can Ulkay, known for projects including Ayla, will sit in the director’s chair.

Ferit Kaya has officially joined the film after recently drawing attention with his performance in Uzak Şehir. Taner Ölmez is also on board, reuniting with Erkan Kolçak Köstendil after they formerly worked together in Netflix’s Yaratılan.

Veteran actor Cengiz Bozkurt has joined the cast as well, adding another familiar and beloved face to the lineup.

Nilsu Berfin Aktaş will play the female lead. She remains one of the most talked-about young actresses of her generation, and her casting has already sparked excitement online.

According to Turkish media, more surprise names are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
