Saudi Arabia condemns IRGC affiliates’ infiltration into Kuwait’s Bubiyan Island

Saudi Arabia on Tuesday condemned the attempt of four people affiliated with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) to infiltrate Kuwait by sea.

“[The Kingdom] condemns the infiltration of an armed group from the IRGC of Kuwait’s Bubiyan Island to carry out hostile acts against the brotherly country of Kuwait,” the foreign ministry said in a statement.

It also reaffirmed its rejection of “these attacks that harm Kuwait’s sovereignty,” adding that such “violations undermine international efforts aimed at restoring peace and stability in the region.”

The Kingdom also voiced its solidarity with Kuwait and reiterated its support for any measures the latter takes to maintain its sovereignty, security and stability.
