Ronaldo, Georgina Rodríguez buy luxury villas at Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea destination

Football icon Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodríguez have taken their ties to Saudi Arabia’s luxurious Red Sea destination a step further, becoming homeowners at one of the world’s most exclusive island retreats.

Red Sea Global (RSG) – the developer behind the regenerative tourism project on Saudi Arabia’s west coast – announced on Monday that Ronaldo and Rodríguez purchased two ultra-luxury villas at Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve Residence.

Nujuma is part of the Red Sea Residences collection, a set of just 19 ultra-private villas set on pristine white sands surrounded by crystal-clear waters nearly 26 kilometers from the mainland, accessible only by chartered boat or seaplane.

Ronaldo and Rodríguez have visited the Red Sea multiple times since its first resorts opened.

Ronaldo described the destination as “a truly remarkable place,” saying he and Georgina felt an immediate connection to its natural beauty and serenity. The two villas purchased by Ronaldo and Rodríguez include a three-bedroom for family time and a two-bedroom for more private getaways.

The Red Sea destination is a flagship project of Saudi Vision 2030, combining luxury tourism with sustainability. The development aims to deliver a 30 percent net conservation benefit to local ecosystems by 2040, powered entirely by renewable energy.
