Israeli attacks kill 45 across Gaza as heavy strikes hit north, south

A family of 10 has been reported killed in an Israeli attack on a Khan Younis home this morning after medical sources said at least 45 people were killed in Israeli strikes across Gaza today.

The death toll from Israeli strikes continues to increase and now stands at 45 Palestinians killed, according to our colleagues on the ground.

Here are just some of the deadly attacks we have reported on today:

Six Palestinians were killed in an Israeli air raid that hit a makeshift barber shop in central Khan Younis.
The Israeli military killed at least ten people after bombing a home in Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
One Palestinian woman was killed in an Israeli bombardment of an area northeast of Rafah, in the south of the Gaza Strip.
Two Palestinians were killed in an attack on a tent housing displaced people in the at-Twam area in the north.
Three Palestinians have been killed in an Israeli air attack on a house on as-Sikka Street in the Zeitoun neighbourhood of Gaza City.At least 43 killed in Israeli attacks across Gaza today

Israeli attacks have been spread across the Strip today, from Beit Lahiya in the north to Rafah in the south of the Palestinian enclave.International community should ‘intervene immediately’ over blockade, says Hamas
Hamas’s chief negotiator has called for immediate pressure on Israel to end the six-week blockade that has deepened a hunger crisis in the battered enclave.

“The international community is required to intervene immediately and exert the necessary pressure to end the unjust blockade imposed on our people in the Gaza Strip,” Hamas’s Khalil al-Hayya said in a statement.

Despite appeals from the UN and aid organizations to allow humanitarian access, Israel says it will continue blocking it, with Defense Minister Israel Katz calling it a “pressure lever” against Hamas.
