Abed Fahed celebrates Syria’s liberation, reflects on unity amidst diversity on social media

Abed Fahed celebrates Syria’s liberation, calling for unity and inclusivity across all spectrums in a heartfelt social media post.

Abed Fahed joined his colleagues in the artistic community to express his opinion about the current situation in his country. He wrote on his official X platform account, “Free Syria celebrates the liberation of Syrians from a sick regime that has lasted for half a century of fear, injustice, and torture.” He celebrated the regime’s downfall in Syria as a member of the artistic community.

Fahed continued by saying, “Congratulations to all of us; the joy must be complete, and Syrians must live in all their spectrums without discrimination. As we were side by side, there is no difference between Muslim, Christian, Shiite, and Alawite; Syria embraces everyone.”

Abed Fahed is currently filming his sequences for the television series “Nafs,” slated to air during the Ramadan 2025 season. Iman Al-Saeed is the author of the work, while Elie Al-Semaan is the director. Daniela Rahma and Moatasem Al-Nahar are the actors who appear in the film.

Following Karen Rizkallah’s decision to withdraw from the series “Nafs,” Elsa Zgheib became a member of the work team in order to participate in this project, which puts her and Abed Fahed back together through their collaboration. The series “Shatti Ya Beirut” was the first time they worked together, and this is their second cooperation.

The fact that Abed Fahd made his final public appearance at the Red Sea International Film Festival with his wife and their children, Tim and Leona, is an intriguing fact to take into consideration. Following a period of time during which he disclosed that his daughter had contracted a health condition and was undergoing treatment for an extended period of time, he made this appearance.
