Saudi league targets Mohamed Salah with record salary offer higher than Ronaldo
Given that Mohamed Salah’s contract with his English club Liverpool expires in the summer of 2025, speculation about the Egyptian superstar’s potential transfer to the Saudi Roshen League organization has resurfaced.
Salah’s name has surfaced in relation to a potential transfer to Saudi clubs over the past few months. Rumors suggest that Al-Ittihad, a Saudi club, made Salah an enticing offer during the summer of the previous year.
Reports indicate that authorities from the Saudi Professional League are prepared to make an enticing offer to Mohamed Salah should he decide to leave Liverpool in the summer of 2019. This offer may potentially result in his receiving a better salary than Cristiano Ronaldo.
The British newspaper “Daily Mail” has confirmed that Salah might accept an attractive offer from the Saudi League, given that the Saudi club Al-Nasr pays Cristiano Ronaldo an annual salary of 200 million euros. If Salah decides to join one of the Saudi clubs, we anticipate a salary comparable to or even higher than Ronaldo’s.
This information comes as a result of recent statements made by Salah, in which he revealed that he might leave Liverpool in the summer of next year. Due to the lack of official contract extension negotiations by his club.
After Liverpool’s victory over Southampton on the previous Sunday, Mohamed Salah had used the opportunity to express his thoughts, saying something along the lines of, “We are almost in December, and I have not received any offers yet to stay at the club; I may be out more than I am staying.”
The contracts of some of Liverpool’s most notable players, such as Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, and Trent Alexander-Arnold, are about to expire, which has caused the club to be in a state of concern.
