Saudi Crown Prince, Putin discuss war in Ukraine

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed developments in the war in Ukraine in a phone call, the Saudi state news agency reported on Wednesday.

The Kremlin earlier said the two leaders also underscored the importance of continuing a “close coordination” within the OPEC+ group of oil producers.

“The efficiency and timeliness of the steps taken in this format to ensure balance in the global energy market were stated,” the Kremlin said on its website in a readout of the call.
